Syllabus

Day 1:

Making offerings – Reestablishing relations with parts of Nature.

On this day we examine our relations with various parts of Nature and start to improve them. We go through the different ways of making offerings (gifting) to open up a stronger, deeper and more supporting connection to what surrounds us in Nature and our everyday life.

Traditional tree offerings, offerings to the waters, the winds, the fire, the soil and much more.

Day 2:

The elements of Nature. Opening, deepening the experience and relation we have with the elements of nature within and without. How the fire, water, weather/wind and Earth is used in everyday old Scandinavian Trollldom and Folk Wisdom practices.

We will use brooms, holes in the ground, bonfires, kitchen stove, chimney, waters of different sort to both learn how to use these in Trolldom but also to get closer to them to feel more alive.

Day 3:

Day Three: The House of Völund & Old World life Orientation.

On this day we will look at old Trolldom ways of navigating the life experience and the world using the Labyrinth.

We will use this along with the Labyrinth (Swedish: Trojeborg) and see how these tools can help us in our life journey.

“Þar nĂŠst gerĂ°u ĂŸeir sĂ©r borg Ă miĂ°jum heimi, er kölluĂ° er ÁsgarĂ°r. Þat köllum vĂ©r TrĂłja.”, Gylfaginning §9.

We will look at the old-world view and orientation, Beginning & End – (using myth to navigate the sea of Taking directions). Getting lost. Trapping things. Finding our way. The Red Thread.
